White Water Rafting

You can have this thrilling rafting experience at the Tana River, Athi River, Mathioya River and the Ewaso Nyiro River, depending on the water level. You need not have previous rafting experience and you have the option of paddling as part of a team, or ride in a raft with the guides in control. The following are included in the price:

• Transport
• Briefing before each major rapid by the guide in charge of the trip
• Boats of Avon
• First aid equipment (with CPR trained personnel)
• Complimentary beer and soft drinks all rafting and safety equipment

You will need to bring a swim suit, river sandals or trainers, a change of clothes, sun screen lotion and, most important, a smile in preparation for a great thrill.

Deep Sea Fishing

We organize deep-sea fishing safarismainly on request as there are specific activities geared for beginners, professionals, and special-interest groups. Both deep-sea fishing and scuba diving are optional and do not include accommodation, transfers, tickets or even visas to neighbouring country's waters. We have indicated the current rates below, which are subject to change without notice. Should you wish to book any of the activities, we request that you contact us 7 to 10 days prior to your arrival.

Half day fishing

• 4 hours US$ 300 per boat max. 6-8 persons
• 6 hours US$ 430 per boat max. 6-8 persons

Full day's fishing

• 8 hours US$ 560 per boat max. 6-8 persons

Balloon Safaris

A balloon safari is an exhilarating experience as you experience spectacular and breathtaking views as you soar over the Mara plains, providing you with fantastic photographic opportunities. The safari starts early in the morning, as you are driven to the balloon launch site. Following a briefing by the pilot, the booming gas burners are ignited and the colourful craft begins its gentle climb. The hour's flight is followed by a champagne breakfast out in the open bush before your return to your lodge to re-live the wonderful experience.
