Berngo Safaris and Tours started off as a travel agency in Delaware selling fares in the United States and to Africa in 1999. Berngo opened an office in Kenya in 2007 .Most important is our values as a family owned and operated business. In 2002 , Berngo Safaris and Tours joined up with the Kenyan-American Club an American club with members from all over the world with 700 plus members.The owner of Berngo Safaris and Tours, Bernie,has extensive knowledge of Kenya and Africa . Bernie is fluent in Swahili which is the local Kenyan and Eastern Africa dialect. The name Berngo stands for Bernie Go. The love of travel by the owner is an asset to the company because we take care of our clients just the way we would want to be taken care. In 2008, Berngo Safaris and Tours(North Carolina)merged with Kenya and Beyond Safaris of Nairobi, Kenya which has extensive experience of the African tour market. Together with Africa Tour Services the marketing arm of the two merged companies. Berngo Safaris and Tours has great marketing and human resources in East Africa.. Berngo Safaris and Tours will never claim to be the best African bound tour company, but we strive to do the best we can do to our clients. Berngo Safaris and Tours has continued to grow and offer exceptional services to its clients. In 2009 we have started to venture in to Rwanda one of the two new East African Community countries. OUR VISION:Berngo Safaris and Tours has been involved in giving back to the community especially in Kenya. We are involved in Kenyan children and we contribute to many charities as a corporate responsibility. We are very interested with other like minded companies and people that would be interested in starting a Kenyan youth volunteer non-profit group to clean up Streets in Nairobi, Kenya. We feel that if the youth and other volunteers took pride in their environment and communities, more investments and jobs would be created. About Our Owner: With roots from Kenya , Bernie realized that he could use his knowledge and experience to let people see and enjoy a unique vacation in Kenya and Africa . His experience as a travel agent and as a business owner has been a big plus in customer service and customer satisfaction and he is very excited to share his new business with you. As a former Vice President of the Business Networking International at the Glasgow Delaware Chapter.Nominated as the Best Networker in Newark, Delaware in 2006 , he has also contributed and written articles for the Professional Car Wash and Detailing Magazine. Bernie's love for travel and the curiosity to see the whole world and learn new cultures has continued to this very day. Countries travelled include Italy, Germany,France,United Kingdom, Ethiopia,Kenya,Uganda. Would love to travel to Asia,Australia,Russia,China and offcourse Antarctica:-) Other projects he has started includes the Kenyan-American Club in Delaware . The club is the largest online Kenyan American club with over 700 members from around the world. He also founded Exquisite Mobile Auto Detailing in Newark , Delaware in 2003 .
