Tours to Kogello Village in Kenya

Kogello Village in Western Kenya used to be a sleepy country village until it was propelled to fame by US President Barack Obama in 2008 election. Commonly called Kogello Nyangoma,Siaya District, its the birth place of Barack Obama Sr. father of US President Barack Obama. Barack Obama Sr passed in 1982 in a road accident, but US President Barack Obama's paternal grandmother Sarah Obama is still alive as well as many of his extended family members.

US President Barack Obama has visited Kogello Village three times and this has made Kogello Village a tour attraction for many people interested in visiting Western Kenya including Lake Victoria and the cultural wealth of the many communities.
We recommend this tour for visitors who are
(1) looking for unique sites away from the hustle and bustle of the big cities and towns
(2)Researching on President Barack Obama's roots
(3)Volunteers interested in helping the local Kogello Communities
(4)Cultural enthusiasts that want to explore the rich ethnic ways of life including fishing
